Inno Morolong Leaked Video: Friend Matome Admits Sending It to One Person

The controversy surrounding Inno Morolong's leaked private video took a new turn when two people linked to the footage came forward with separate statements. Both Matome and Tshidi addressed the public on Tuesday, 11 August 2026, through posts shared on Instagram Stories via Inno Morolong's blog account, innomorolong_blog__.

Inno Morolong's friends break silence on leaked video

Matome acknowledged that he was involved in the situation but was firm that his actions were never intended to humiliate or expose anyone.

"Hi everyone. I want to address the situation because my name and Tshidi's have been mentioned," he wrote in his statement.

He admitted to forwarding the footage to one individual, drawing a clear distinction between that and actively distributing it publicly. Matome also called on people to stop sharing the video and asked that misinformation about him not be spread further.

"I sincerely apologise to the person affected and hope this matter can be handled with respect and privacy," he said, signing off with the words: "Inno justice will be served."

Tshidi's statement focused on clearing her name from a different angle. She denied having any hand in recording the footage or knowing how it ended up circulating online.

"I am aware of the video that is currently circulating. I want to make it clear that I did not take the video, nor do I know how it was leaked," she stated.

She provided context about the circumstances, saying the people involved were simply spending time together as friends before the incident unfolded.

"We were all having fun as friends, and unfortunately this situation has happened," she wrote.

Tshidi extended an apology to Inno for any pain the situation may have caused her, and called for the matter to be resolved through proper legal channels rather than played out on social media.
