Grammy-winning South African superstar Tyla has once again staked her claim in the global fashion world, landing the cover of ELLE UK's October 2026 issue. Photographed by Jessica Madavo and styled by Feranmi Eso, the A*POP singer delivers a stunning fashion moment that has already set the internet alight.

Tyla's ELLE UK cover look

For her cover, Tyla wore a white Miu Miu shirt paired with sheer tights, striking a balance between understated and effortlessly glamorous. The editorial spread goes even further, featuring a rich burgundy leather jacket worn as a mini dress and an oversized coat draped off the shoulders, both Miu Miu looks that showcase the singer's signature boldness.

Inside the issue, Tyla reflects on growing up captivated by the entertainment world, partly through stories her grandmother shared about performing in her youth. She told ELLE UK magazine:

"I found it such an exciting, movie-type life. It was not realistic. And that's also what made me fall in love with it, because I just love the idea of having a life and doing whatever you want in it, and making it your own fairy tale."

The Water hitmaker also opens up candidly about how she maintains her sense of self despite rising to global stardom.

"When you're a celebrity, you sometimes get lost in it. You think that that's the real world, but it's not. Because I was able to watch the industry from afar – very far, from the bottom of Africa, I saw it as this untouchable realm. Now that I'm in it, I know the difference. I know what's real and I know what's not. And I think that's why I'm able to be more playful about it now and not take it as seriously. Because it isn't that serious. There are way more serious things happening in the world, you know."
