Jo-Anne Reyneke had glowing words for Sindi Dlathu during a candid sit-down on Penuel Mlothswa's podcast, The Konvo Show, filmed in September 2026. She credited the veteran actress with shaping not just her on-screen performance, but her entire approach to the craft.
"I learned how to be a lead from Sis' Sindi. How to not be the most important person. Even though everybody else keeps saying that to you," Reyneke said. She added that watching how Dlathu treated people on set left a lasting impression on her. "The way she makes people feel. From the smallest guy to the most important guy. I learned that from her. From grips to catering to directing, I love that woman."

@Thando_katli offered perhaps the most detailed account, describing a full weekend spent near the star:
"She recently attended a function at her homestead, which is two houses away from my home. When I tell you, that lady immediately gelled with everyone and was so kind and hospitable throughout the entire weekend, especially towards kids. Love her down."
Negative experiences erupt
A couple of voices broke from the chorus of praise. @SibaAtSea raised eyebrows by referencing an encounter as far back as 2009, writing:
"How she treats wait staff is a whole other topic. I'll never forget my 2009 encounter with her."
@PhumiekaLiyo also weighed in, simply stating
"I have a different experience," without elaborating further.

The Four of Us, starring Sindi Dlathu, replaced Scandal! in e.tv's 20:00 slot and was later acquired by Netflix, where it has been performing well on the platform.
