Andrews explained that she and her ex-husband, a French engineer, met in late 2007 while both were holidaying in Mozambique. Both were in relationships at the time, but the connection was undeniable. After returning to Johannesburg, they broke things off with their respective partners and officially became a couple in 2008, eventually moving in together and marrying after only about seven months of knowing each other.

The voicemail that changed everything

By the time Pam Andrews fell pregnant, cracks had already begun to show. She described escalating arguments, her husband's growing resentment of her fame and earnings as an actress, and his increasingly dismissive attitude towards her career on Rhythm City. "I played it over and over and over again because I had to be sure," she said. "You know your partner's voice."
