Pam Andrews, who has been open about her unconventional arrangement with her husband, dropped a selfie-style vlog on Instagram that had peeps in the comments absolutely hooked. He pops by for dinner with her and their son most evenings, but beyond that, they keep their lives largely independent.
The trouble, she explains, is that her husband's girlfriends tend to have a shelf life of about three to four months before things fizzle out. Now that his latest relationship has ended, she is bracing herself for the consequences.
"This is not good news for me. Now he's gonna be hanging around here more often. Now I can't relax. He's very controlling, and I am not someone who likes to be controlled."

She went on to describe their dynamic with refreshing honesty, saying the two of them cannot share the same space for more than two and a half hours without tensions rising, which is precisely why living apart works so well for them and their son.
Husband already showing up unannounced
Midway through filming, her husband actually walked in, prompting a priceless exchange. She greeted him with "Can I help you, sir? You broke up with a girlfriend, now you're here bothering me?" before he settled in and started making himself comfortable.
She also floated a theory as to why he may be particularly keen to hang around lately. A new man has moved into her complex, and she suspects her husband spotted her chatting to him. "I think he's trying to sabotage me," she said, noting that he had even called their son at school to track down her whereabouts.
Between the relationship commentary, she broke her fast with plain air-fryer chicken seasoned with only olive oil and salt, negotiated a slightly over-budget Cape Town hotel with her husband, and handed over her car keys so he could fill up the petrol tank because, apparently, he does not trust her to put in the right fuel.
