With Season 3 of the hit Mzansi Magic show Izingane Zes'thembu a few episodes in, Mzansi is already ready to change the channel.

The Uthando Nes'thembu spin-off reality TV show focuses on the lives of Musa Mseleku's children from his three wives. The kids have their own stories to tell, but with this season, Mzansi is feeling some type of way about it.

Many people have called for imminent change or at least to shift the focus away from Mpumelelo Mseleku and his marriage drama. This season, Sbindi Mseleku introduced his new fiancée, Amahle Gasela, with an entire episode focused on her lobola negotiations.

"This might be the worst season of the show. Something has to change," he wrote.

People seem to agree, with one fan pointing out how Tirelo Kale and Amahle Gasela pretend to hate each other on air, but in real life, they are best friends.

@Deaf_Dop suggested:

"This show might work if they co-cast children from other sthembus such as the Gumbis and the Mabasos. Focusing on one family with no storyline is boring."

Some fans want the other kids on the show to shine, hopeful that they, too, have stories to tell.

"This is just a job, to them. A way to earn money. They are playing "house". They are following a script! I don't know why people still think this is real."

@Paballo_maseko_ remarked:

"One thing I can tell you is that Mpumelelo and Tirelo are good. This is all for TV. And I have a feeling she got married first and they lying or she agreed to Amahle being first hence why they get along. Now they are trying to find something else to stir drama, and it’s not landing."

@Nkulerrrh said:

"The other siblings are boring in fact all of them kwayena mpumelelo yabhora nasi sthembu sakhe."

@OreeditseMawela pointed out:

"Even the marriage to Amahle seems like content and not a real thing. I don't know why they don't go into Abo's life, because she is a lesbian. That can be content galore, instead they just make her "I am taking my siblings eGoli" as if Joburg is some New York."

Viewers mock Mpumelelo's lack of medical aid

In a previous report from Briefly News, Mzansi mocked the Mseleku family's medical aid crisis.
