A Nigerian man has graduated from university, and his joy knows no bounds after he has written his final paper.
Graduate's spelling blunder
On the day he graduated, Gabriel Ayomide shared a video on TikTok, announcing to his friends and followers that he had signed out.
However, a wrong word was among the three inscribed on Ayomide's shirt. The inscriptions were meant to announce what the young man went through before his graduation.
The inscription reads:
"I came, I 'salt' and I conquered" instead of the popular "I came, I saw and I conquered."

Man happy to graduate
Those who saw the video on TikTok quickly noticed the word that was out of place. While it is unclear if the spelling error was deliberately made, the young graduate proudly wore the shirt with the inscription.
He held the shirt for people to see while background audio told of how happy he was to finally leave the university.
Graduate goes home and celebrates with a dance
In other graduation-related stories, Briefly News recently shared about a young man who beamed with pride after graduation and performed a traditional dance in his home. The young man can be seen arriving in a white van, getting off and opening the gate before doing a traditional dance around the yard.
Family members celebrated the graduate, who ululated as he entered the yard, officially declaring him an engineering graduate. Social media users reacted to the clip, with many showering the graduate with positive messages.
