A young South African woman from Gauteng, Luyanda Mdluli, amazed many people when she revealed her profession after obtaining an aviation degree.

In early July, Mdluli went viral on TikTok after showing off how she made her money versus how she spent it. Her hustle was admired by thousands of people on the internet.

Mzansi was proud of how the young woman was focused on sustaining herself the best way possible. Mdluli’s now-viral TikTok video has been viewed by over 246K people.

Although it’s unspoken, some jobs are often looked down upon in society. Cleaners, garbage collectors and packers are often overlooked because of the work they do.

A young South African woman, Luyanda Mdluli, from Gauteng, wowed the internet when she admitted to loving her job as a garbage collector.  The lady hopped on a viral trend where she showed off how hard she worked versus how she enjoyed her money.

She hops on and off a truck to load rubbish or sometimes drives it from neighbourhood to neighbourhood with no shame. The young woman explained that she has no interest in finding any other jobs because of the benefits she currently enjoys at her waste management company:

“Benefits and security, baby girl.”

Mdluli receives an overtime allowance, medical aid, house subsidy and a pension fund. She explained that working for the government in waste management is the best part of her job.

Mdluli might get dirty while doing her job, but spends it wearing some of the finest clothes and dining in beautiful establishments.
