The entertaining clip was shared on TikTok by @flywithsaa, gaining massive views and a wave of praise and support from the online audience.

The video starts with four cabin crew members, two ladies and two gentlemen, at the airline's Airways Park offices in Johannesburg. The crew are dressed in their gorgeous blue uniform, and colourful scarves for the women. They are seen participating in the 'Chomy Yam' challenge, made popular by an old video of media personality Khanyi Mbau.

SAA expands flights for the holiday season

South African Airways announced that it will be boosting its flight offering across its international and regional destinations to cater for the increasing demand during the upcoming holiday period. New flights to Lagos will commence on 6 October, with services running six days a week. From 1 October, flights to Accra will also increase to six times a week.

Furthermore, the airline will introduce additional flights to São Paulo on Wednesdays and Sundays, beginning on 10 December. This seasonal expansion is designed to provide travellers with greater flexibility and convenience. Those celebrating significant events like Detty December and the Brazilian Carnival will benefit from this flight expansion.

The airline's Chief Commercial Officer, Tebogo Tsimane, confirmed that SAA is committed to improving its service to customers. The airline is known for its authentic African hospitality and offers direct routes, clear pricing, and the opportunity to earn Voyager miles on every journey. Travellers are encouraged to book their flights early to secure competitive fares during this busy time, which runs until 11 February next year.
