Starting a small business
SME South Africa reported that university students can find business ideas by looking at their environment and daily challenges, and helping to fill that gap. For Katlego, it was an idea and a drive to succeed, using social media to promote her business.
This goes beyond selling sweets; Katlego has created a supportive community around her brand. The Instagram account, which once had no followers, now has a loyal fanbase. She regularly acknowledges messages and responds to comments.
