Two Spidermen showed up in Seshego, Limpopo, and the internet has not recovered. TikToker @essakyy posted the clip on 22 August 2026, and it racked up 385,100 likes, 52,200 shares and over 2,000 comments within days.
The video was filmed from inside a vehicle stopped at a red traffic light. Two men in full Spiderman costumes were standing near the intersection. As the light turned green and the car began to move, the driver leaned out the window and shouted: "Ow Pitha phakaa!"
Seshego's Spiderman takes off
The Spiderman closest to the car heard them and reacted immediately. He bolted after the vehicle, running in a playful, exaggerated style that had the passengers in stitches. He eventually overtook the car, then stopped and struck a pose, fingers bent in the classic web-shooting position made famous by Peter Parker. The people inside the car were laughing the entire time.

What added another layer to the video was the second Spiderman, who was spotted on the other side of the road deep in conversation with an ambulance driver. South Africans in the comments section ran with the detail, joking that the second Spiderman was clearly in need of medical attention.
