A campaign video filmed inside a cemetery, featuring a man in an "I AM A DA VOTER" shirt, had South Africa talking on 26 August 2026.
The clip, posted by @newsnexussa on TikTok, opens with the man lying on top of a gravestone, before sitting up and delivering a dramatic monologue. He declared that the DA was not dead and promised that the party had come to bury corruption, waste, and potholes. He closed with a direct appeal:
"On the 4th of November, let us vote DA. Let us rise. Let us reboot."
