A South African woman took her natural hair journey to a dramatic new level by burning her entire wig collection on camera. A TikToker posted the video on 4 September 2026, and it quickly caught fire online for reasons beyond the obvious.

The clip opens in a home kitchen, where she holds up several high-quality Vietnamese hair wigs, including a 20-inch, a 14-inch, and an 8-inch piece. She had never even worn the 14-inch wig. The only item she kept was a ponytail made from salvaged bundles. Everything else, she took outside and lit with a matchbox.
The young farmer @ttthefarmer's reasoning was simple and unapologetic. "I feel extremely gorgeous with my natural hair," she said in the video. "I'm so in love with how I look. Maybe it's cause I'm getting older, I don't know, but jeez, I am in love, honey." She made clear she had no intention of selling the wigs either, saying she doesn't want to.
