Moriel Infrastructure Group moved quickly to cut ties with him, terminating his roles as both Executive Chairman and Director in a statement which they issued. Steyn City Properties also issued a statement cancelling his residential lease agreement, effectively removing him from his home. The fallout reflects just how seriously both corporate and private entities responded once the footage circulated widely and public pressure mounted.
