A South African comedian left the internet in tears of laughter with a sharp satirical skit posted on 24 September 2026. TikTok user @dndndognerd played out a fictional scene at a US airport involving an Afrikaner refugee family trying to re-enter the country after a trip back home.

In the skit, a US airport supervisor informs the family that voluntarily returning to South Africa had voided their refugee agreement. When the traveller grows emotional and begs to find a solution, the supervisor delivers the punchline, deploying the Afrikaans slang word "voetsek" (go away) to send them off.
