Identical content-creating twins Amron and Geovanna 'Geo' Siebritz were positively stunned after getting back their individual results of an ancestral DNA test they had done. The sisters shared where they bought the test and how much it cost them.
Taking to their shared TikTok account on 11 April, 2025, Amron and Geo showed the online community that they purchased Mediclinic's Precise Ancestry test, costing approximately R2 000 each.
In response to a TikTok user's inquiry, the twins mentioned that they submitted their results to the private healthcare services group, adding:
"You can buy it on Takealot as well. Mediclinic collects the results and sends you an email once your results are complete."

In an Instagram video, the local influencers noted:
"The test will provide a detailed breakdown of our ancestry, including percentages and fascinating facts about each region."
The following are the results for both women:
- Eastern Europe: 18.27%
- South Eastern Asia: 17.4%
- Southern Asia: 16.45%
- Ashkenazi Jew: 13.48%
- Southern Africa - KhoeSan: 8.97%
- Southern Africa - Bantu-speaking: 6.1%
- Eastern Africa: 4.74%
- Ancient: 4.41%
- Western Africa: 3.58%
- Oceania: 3.01%
- Central Africa: 2.06%
After the excited sisters saw that their results were "exactly the same," they felt it confirmed they were identical twins.
"We would have never thought Eastern Europe would be the highest percentage. This is so fascinating."

A few local members of the online community took an interest in the two women's results and were also intrigued to know where they were able to purchase the test kit.
After seeing the outcome, @shazamazza wondered in the comment section:
"Does it just say 'Central Africa,' or does it specify? That’s very vague."
@mrandmrsoos told Amron and Geo about their experience:
"Be ready to be surprised. I did mine eight years ago, and it is updated all the time. I had 389 matches in Europe."
