A Cape Town businessman has touched the hearts of thousands after sharing his journey of completely renovating his late mother's home from the ground up.

Facebook user @mondeli.mququ, who is CEO and Co-founder at Sequence Wealth Holdings, posted an emotional video on 3 September 2025 showing the incredible transformation of his mother's house in Mqekezweni, Eastern Cape.

"They will cut the rope": Alleged Cape Town "SWAT team" fails to impress Mzansi

"I thank God for giving me the strength to resurrect my mother's home. I'm sure that my mum is smiling down from heaven."

The footage takes viewers through every step of the building process. Construction vehicles arrive carrying cement, blocks, pillars, and other essential materials. Workers can be seen mapping out the foundation layout before the real work begins. The video captures men working together to gather sand and other materials, laying the foundation, and slowly building up the walls as rooms start taking shape.

The detailed clip shows different workers handling various tasks. Some are laying blocks, others are clearing rubble from the construction site. As the project progresses, viewers see the walls going up both inside and outside the structure. The front pillars are carefully positioned, and there's a waiting period for the cement to properly dry and set.

Near the end of the video, the son gives a tour of the almost-finished structure. All that remains is the interior plastering, flooring, exterior plastering, electrical work, roofing, doors, windows, painting, and final electrical connections before the home will be ready.
