Is it normal to feel overwhelmed in marriage?
She adds that being married, you lose your peace and your sense of individuality, even when married to a good man. She says she has always wanted to travel and explore, and she does so, but all of those are done with someone. She does, however, note that everything has to be done with someone else, saying she never gets alone time.
The young wife adds that even in making decisions, they should be made with someone else's feelings in mind. Crying, she acknowledges that many people search for a man like hers, who takes care of her and is good to her, but that she still feels miserable with a good man.

Netizens share mixed views
The video went viral, garnering massive views and comments from social media users who had mixed views. Many agreed that having to constantly think about someone could sometimes be too much, especially when married to the wrong partner.
Some noted that marriage was not for everyone, saying they had been married for decades but had never felt like the woman did. Others said they are now starting to understand the likes of Oprah Winfrey, adding that they were now embracing their singleness.

"Every single day, I get on this app and I’m reminded that being single is the best and safest scenario for us women."
User @bourgeois.xo advised:
"You need seasonal vacations alone. Then see how you feel. Humans aren’t meant to be alone, but we’re definitely allowed alone time."
User @Desmo🇨🇩🇵🇸🇸🇩🇭🇹🇰🇪 shared:
"The happiest men are married, the happiest women are single with no kids. Marriage was never designed for women to flourish in love; it was designed for men to be able to control women more easily. Before y’all come for me, I’m not talking about HER man, I’m talking about the origins of marriage as a practice."
User @TheGirlWhoDiedWolf added:
"Marriage is hard, relationships are hard, being single is hard. But being single is the easiest of the hard ❤️✨."
User @LaChelle Barnett said;
"This isn't a marriage or relationship problem. This is an awareness & acceptance of self-problem. Do what's best for you. But be careful of telling everyone they should be alone or that being with someone isn't worth it."
User @theserpentandsphinx commented:
"Babe, it’s ok. It just sounds like you’re extremely overstimulated by the constant interaction for such a prolonged period. We have the free will to create the relationship we want. Separate rooms, separate residence. Taking solo breaks for a bit. It could alleviate the pressure. I have married friends who do this, and it’s so healthy for the relationship to create space. Overstimulation needs to be addressed and handled. Thank you for sharing."
