Officers restrained the suspect following their interview with the minor. Blood was visible on the man's shirt, and he had sustained a burst lip, which investigators believe occurred during the physical confrontation with the victim.
Critically, the child disclosed that this was not an isolated incident. He told officers he had previously witnessed the suspect assault his mother on multiple occasions. The case has since been handed over to the South African Police Service for further investigation. This incident happened after a woman allegedly killed her friend's son over a debt.

"You know what angers me more about this is that South Africans always worry about irrelevant issues instead of more important issues, which is domestic violence. This argument started at 5:00. "Condolences to the family 🙏 I hope the son receives help cause i cant imagine how this will affect him mentally. God bless him."
