Magic Johnson Pays Warm Tribute to Kobe: "My Lakers Brother for Life"

It is exactly one year since the world lost basketball legend Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, popularly known as Gigi, and others who were on board a helicopter that crashed.
Entertainers, basketball players and fans also paid their tribute while remembering the veteran basketballer who died in 2020.
Former Lakers basketball team member Magic Johnson penned a heartfelt message in remembering his friend Kobe who was also a Laker. He posted the sweet message on Facebook, prompting others to share their best memories of the fallen star.
"Thank you God for allowing me enjoy Kobe Bryant for 20 years as a great basketball player, athlete, husband, father, philanthropist, mentor and teacher of the game to many men and women of all ages, best friend to Rob Pelinka, and brother to Jeanie Buss.
He will always be my Lakers brother for life. Laker Nation we will always remember the brilliance, the legend, and the mamba mentality of #8/#24," his post read.
