The defeat to their biggest rivals seems to have hurt the legendary coach, who refused to hold a post-match presser.
Galatasaray took the lead in the 20th minute after Lucas Torreira's shot hit Dominik Livakovic. Dries Mertens doubled the lead eight minutes later. In the 59 minute, Gabriel Sara sealed the win.

Edin Dzeko scored a consolation from the penalty spot, but they were unable to overcome the deficit, per Anadolu Agency.
Galatasaray troll Mourinho on X
Galatasaray's X account did not hold back as their team was heading for a massive win. They shared multiple Tweets aiming to mock the former AS Roma boss.
Saturday's clash was Mourinho's 10th in charge of the Turkish team and his second defeat. Lille knocked them out of the 2024/25 Champions League a few weeks ago.
The defeat ended Fenerbahce's 32-match unbeaten streak in the Super Ligue. After six games, they are now five points behind Galatasaray.
Mourinho's reaction to Fred's hat-trick
Briefly News earlier reported that Mourinho shared a joke with Fred on the bench after he was subbed off in Fenerbahce's 5-0 win.
The Brazilian midfielder netted his first career hat-trick against Caykur Rizespor a few days ago.
