Solskjaer opens door to sensational United return

Amid this uncertainty, former United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has expressed a desire to return to Old Trafford.

The Norwegian, who has been out of a job since his dismissal in November 2021, hinted at unfinished business with the club.

When asked if he would be open to taking the managerial role again, Solskjaer responded confidently:

"I don't like to talk about other manager's jobs, but yes”.
“Of course, I would!”, he said, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.

Solskjaer’s previous stint as manager saw him guide United to a second-place finish in the 2020/21 season. However, poor results, including a humiliating 5-0 defeat to Liverpool, led to his dismissal.
