Mourinho dream player to coach
The legendary coach also faced some of the world's greatest talents, such as Lionel Messi, Xavi, and Iniesta, during the height of El Clasico between Real Madrid and Barcelona.
He said he would've loved to coach Messi
"For example, I never got to train Lionel Messi, but then nobody can train Messi,” Mourinho said via Sportbible.
"It is absurd to think you could coach him, because he was born with everything and already knows everything. He might teach you some things. All you could say is that you had the honour of having him in your squad."
He made these comments while he was AS Roma's boss. The Premier League winner added that he would've loved to have two of the club's greatest players.
"To stay in the Roma theme, I would’ve liked to have [Daniele] De Rossi at Inter and Real Madrid, but it was not possible."
