Ruben Amorim officially began his role at Manchester United nearly two weeks after his appointment. On Tuesday, the former Sporting CP boss met with Man United players who are recovering from injury. Most of the squad is on international duty or on holiday.
Amorim will coach his first game on 24 November after the conclusion of the final international break of the year.

According to Manchester Evening News, Amorim arrived at Carrington training complex on Tuesday afternoon and was received by chief executive Omar Berrada, sporting director Dan Ashworth and technical director Jason Wilcox.

The 39-year-old coach warmly embraced Luke Shaw, Leny Yoro, Mason Mount, Kobbie Mainoo and Toby Collyer. All these players have been recovering from injury. Mount, Shaw and Yoro are close to returning to action. Amorim also met the club's staff.
He is still waiting for his visa before stepping out to the grass to prepare for the Ipswich Town clash. He is expected to make an immediate impact. After 11 matches, the club is 13th in the Premier League.
How Man United will play under Amorim
Briefly News earlier reported that Amorim briefly explained how Manchester United could play when he takes charge.
He stressed that he wants his team to play "without fear", meaning we will see a much more attacking style at Old Trafford. Amorim is expected to play a 3-4-2-1 or 3-4-3 formation, which will be unfamiliar to most players.
Guardiola's message to Amorim
Briefly News also reported that Pep Guardiola praised Ruben Amorim following his appointment, calling him a top-level coach.
Guardiola's Manchester City lost 4-1 to Amorim's Sporting in the Champions League last week.
