What did Marcus Rashford do?

As the Englishman was getting ready to be introduced, he removed his gloves and threw them down on the turf despite one of the United's backroom staff standing near him.

Rashford then removed the second glove, and rather than place it on the outstretched arm of the staff, he threw it on the floor again.

The incident elicited sharp reactions online, with fans criticising the forward for disrespectful behaviour.

"I like Rashford, but this doesn't look good, not gonna lie."

BMatungwa said:

"This boy has discipline issues! I hope Amorim saw that! He should be moved on!"

Ryan Allsopp said:

"The fact he’s throwing them on the ground when he’s that close to a member of staff who’s offering to take them from him just tells you everything you need to know about Marcus Rashford. His attitude is a disgrace."

The 27-year-old failed to further impact the game as the Red Devils went on to win the game 3-2. It was Ruben Amorim's first game in charge at Old Trafford. Rashford will be hoping to be reinstated back to the starting XI for the Everton test on Sunday despite Rasmus Hojlund's brace in midweek.
