Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has explained why winger Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho were left out of his squad for the Manchester derby.
The two players have been regulars under the new coach but have hit the headlines in the last few weeks for the wrong reasons.

Rashford, for instance, has regressed drastically in the last two seasons and has continually received intense criticism from fans who feel he's not doing enough.
Garnacho, on the other hand, is having a decent season, but his performances have attracted critics.
Since replacing Erik ten Hag, the new coach has rotated the team, but today's decision seems like a big one.
The England star has registered seven goals this season, while Garnacho has eight, per Transfermarkt.
He has explained their omissions.
"I pay attention to everything, the way you eat, the way you put your clothes to go to a game. Everything. I make my evaluation and then I decide. There is a communication after the last training. They are alright. They had training this morning and I was there. They trained really well." Amorim said via journalist Simon Stone.
Manchester United are looking to pile more misery on Manchester City, who have won once in 10 matches.
Gunnar Solskjaer sparks coaching comeback rumors
Briefly News earlier reported that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was seen in attendance as Wolverhampton faced Ipswich in a Premier League clash on Saturday, fueling speculation about his return to management.
The former Manchester United boss has been out of coaching since his departure from Old Trafford in 2021. Despite years away from the dugout, Solskjaer’s presence at the match sparked discussions about a possible comeback.
