Henry Pollock has admitted that he could consider leaving rugby altogether or pursuing a career abroad as his contract situation with Northampton Saints remains unresolved.
The 21-year-old England back rower is reportedly earning £150,000 ($203,000) per year under a deal that runs through the end of the 2026/27 season. With negotiations over a new contract yet to produce an agreement, Pollock is keeping his future options open.
Pollock said he would welcome the chance to experience life in different countries while also exploring other sports and career opportunities. He made it clear that he would not automatically reject any opportunity that could take him in a different direction.
Hearn's influence and rugby's future
Earlier this year, Pollock joined boxing promoter Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Talent Agency, with the move opening the door to opportunities outside rugby. The 13-cap England international does not believe Hearn’s valuation has placed additional pressure on him.
