Former Blitzbok Chris Dry has married Viki Kritzinger in a small, family-only wedding held at Voëlklip in Hermanus.
The coastal setting was no random choice; the spot has been woven into their relationship since the very beginning, and Dry's parents live just outside the town, adding another layer of meaning to the occasion.
The couple kept the guest list deliberately tight, surrounding themselves with close family rather than hosting a large celebration. "We wanted to keep it very small, so that's why we only had family there," Dry said. "It was very special."

A Decorated Career Before a New Chapter
The wedding follows an engagement that was made public in July 2026, when YOU reported that Dry had proposed to Kritzinger, and that he had needed to ask her twice before she said yes.
Dry's path to this moment has been shaped by one of the most accomplished Sevens careers South Africa has produced. He made his international debut in Adelaide in 2010 and went on to appear in 74 World Rugby Sevens Series tournaments, playing 373 matches and crossing for 98 tries.
He was part of South Africa's gold-medal-winning squad at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, claimed two World Series titles with the Blitzboks, earned a place in the World Series Dream Team in 2017 and represented the country at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, where South Africa finished fifth.
