The ANC Youth League in Johannesburg will be moving forward with its military training camp. Called 'Camp Zenith', the programme will include training in guerrilla tactics and firearm handling.

The African National Congress has announced that it has disbanded the leadership of the party's Youth League, appointing an interim task team in its place.

The ANC has distanced itself from its Youth League's plans to hold a training camp where members are set to receive military training.

Embattled ANC Youth League leader, Collen Maine, has stepped down as a member of Parliament. Maine listed "private matters" as his reason for resigning but added he's not going anywhere.

The SA Students Congress (Sasco) and ANC Women's League (ANCWL) have praised former president Jacob Zuma for being "forward thinking". Zuma was honoured at an event on Thursday. In particular, Sasco lauded Zuma too.

Former South African President, Jacob Zuma, recently addressed a crowd on the topic of the role of the ANCYL in today’s society. Zuma told attendees that the ANCYL needs to back a president whose top concern is everyday citizens.
