Rea Gopane is a YouTuber who is one half of 'The Rea and Black Step Podcast'. Earlier this month, the influencer made some accusations about Bonang having a drug habit and introducing AKA to cocaine.

He said that he was told this sensitive information by media personality Siyabonga Mkhwanzi, more popularly known as Scoop. He said:

“Scoop told us that AKA is on coke, and Bonang is the one that got him into cocaine. Scoop told us that, bro, after the interview we had him right here at this place.”

Bonang did not take kindly to the allegations and slapped Rea with a defamation suit worth R500 000. In the letter of demand, Bonang’s lawyers cite the financial demands as reparations for damaging her brand.

With fans cheering her on, Bonang made it clear that more letters were going to be issued soon, including one to Scoop himself.

Social media users have been using the opportunity to troll the YouTuber and to also advise each other to stay out of people’s business.

“If only Reagopane had listened to Bonang here with a free advice, he wouldn't be on 500K lmao. Scoop as well.”

@shereen said:

“He should get his own lawyer and take the case to court. This is a civil matter. The court will look at the evidence and decide it's not strictly up to Bonang or her lawyer.”

Meanwhile, Briefly News previously reported that Bonang Matheba has been minding her business and getting her coin. However, she has found herself getting dragged into AKA’s drama.

The media personality did not directly confront the people who mentioned her but she did offer some strong words about what she thought of the situation.

Bonang has been accused of influencing AKA to pick up an alleged drug habit. Taking to social media, Bonang posted a cryptic message about the situation. She said:

“...filth everywhere! Enjoy your day.”

Many were able to put two and two together and responded to Matheba’s tweet accordingly.
