A man identified as Shingirai Nyakabawu has inspired people on social media with his throwback and recent photos after bagging his PhD.
Shingirai took to his LinkedIn page to share the photos and simply wrote:
"My last ten years. From the village to PhD."

Ten years ago, the man was just a village boy and today he is a doctorate holder. The young man's post caused quite a stir as some shared their opinions on it.

I know a handful of people in a village in Southern Africa with PhDs though, and many others with none who have achieved a lot yet proud to have done it whilst staying put in their villages.
