No bad blood between the People's Bae and his 'sister': Ndlozi clears air on Pearl Thusi beef

Who could forget the epic Twitter battle between Mbuyiseni Ndlozi and Pearl Thusi earlier this year? Well, apparently the EFF spokesperson did.

According to the People's Bae, there was no hard feelings between him and the fiery South African actress, who slammed the EFF for their behaviour towards retail store H&M.

Briefly.co.za reported in January Pearl Thusi went off on Twitter over the EFF vandalising a H&M store after a racist advert.

Her tweet sparked a reaction from Ndlozi, who was not afraid to shut her down. South Africans were sitting with their popcorn watching the feud unfold, until Ndlozi no longer responded.

Now, months after their little public disagreement, Ndlozi finally decided to clear the air.

"Pearl is my sister and I am actually very fond of her. It is not her that we were really responding to but the idea (that we are savages).", TimesLIVE reported him saying.

The People's Bae explained the actress "adopted the oppressor’s language to describe blacks" when she described their behaviour as savage.

According to Ndlozi, he did not want to roast her, he simply wanted to set her straight.

"She characterised our behaviour as savage. That word has a huge history of racism, so we had to take the opportunity through her to heal that imagination and emancipate the mind."
