- The Khoisan wants to take back their country - South Africa
- Chief Khoisan SA will declare the Khoisan's self-governance and independence on the first day of the new year
- According to the Khoisan, South Africa belongs to only them
The Khoisan are planning to declare self-governance and independence in 209. They also plan to declare that South Africa belongs to them alone.
For months now, the Khoisan has been giving demands to the South African government, but apparently, they have reached the end of their limits.
According to a report by The Citizen, Chief Khoisan SA returned to the Union Building this month to get President Ramaphosa to address their demands.
This is after they camped outside the Union Buildings for the first time in December 2018.
While South Africans have grown fond of saying "give our land back", the Khoisan have taken to saying they will "take their country back".
Briefly.co.za gathered that the Khoisan are opposed to the land reform process and says the Khoi and San are the real owners of South African land.
They also want the word 'coloured' to be replaced with the word 'Khoisan' in government documents.
It is believed that the Khoisan will be declaring their self-governance and independence on the 1st of January 2019.
