So-called 'one billion dollar wedding' of South Sudanese couple breaks the Internet

The personal assistant to President Salva Kiir Mayardit of South Sudan has reportedly tied the knot with her boo in an extravagant wedding that got people talking on social media.
It was gathered that the lady married someone who also has a link to an ambassador. According to reports, the wedding cost about a billion dollars.
A Twitter user identified as Sudhir Byaruhanga had alleged in a tweet that the decor for the wedding cost 200 million dollars. He also noted that they booked three venues for one week.

Social media users pointed out that the wedding decor money alone was roughly equal to their entire education fees.
Others commented that the wedding expenses was too much when they have people suffering in South Sudan.
Some talked about how the wedding would have been a good business for service providers.
