Actress Amanda du Pont lands new role in Netflix show, Shadows

The talented, Amanda du Pont shared the good news on Instagram yesterday, about her new role as Ashley on Netflix's original series, Shadows which launches next month.

After a dreamy 3-week holiday in Thaliand with her fiancé Shawn Rodriques, actress Amanda du Pont, is ready to get back into the swing of things.

She made a public announcement about her new role as Ashley on the Netflix original series, Shadows which makes it's debut on 8 March. She was so excited about the news, she had to share it with her fans.

"Netflix and chill. I’m so overjoyed, to announce that I will be in a Netflix original series Shadow, playing the role of Ashley. Shadow launches on the 8 of March and will be available on Netflix globally at the same time. God has a plan. Don’t you ever forget that! Africa to the world."

Netflix released an official trailer of the new original series, Shadows, and it looks really good. It's synopsis read: "After being struck by lightning, a young man emerges from the shadows to become Jozi’s hero. Giving up his badge to pursue justice for those who can’t help themselves, Shadow is Mzansi’s new vigilante."
