Sarah Langa was born in South Africa on February 26th, 1993. She grew up in Soweto Mofolo before going to the city in Observatory to attend school. Her interest in modelling developed at an early age and to pursue it, and she even tried joining the ICE model. The outcome was not very pleasant as she did not make it. She was rejected because her hip size did not meet the required sample size. She studied at Wit University pursuing Psychology with a minor in Marketing. She has a passion for education and has proven this by supporting students.

Education is very important to me. When I entered varsity, I realized that there are different levels of education. Many schools only teach students how to pass. While I was good at school, I knew I had to bridge a gap to keep up with my studies. That’s why I support Young Einstein’s. Their tutors whole-heartedly invest in each student that attends extra lessons, ensuring that students don’t just pass but actually grasp the learning material. I currently assist many of the students in a financial capacity too.

However, she believes that there is no one better for her, and therefore, she is not bothered. Jehan Mackay is the CEO of South Africa’s largest technological companies.

In December 2016, Sarah exchanged vows with Mackay. It was clear that Sarah Langa-Heaton was happy as she got married to her husband whom she married twice. The first time, the ceremony was traditional and the white wedding followed later in the second celebration. The wedding was celebrated in a marble themed extravaganza at Munro Hotel. Among those who attended the Black-tie themed wedding were Bonang Matheba and Lorna Maseko, make-up artist Vuyo Varoy and model Melody Molale. At the reception, the couple changed their white wedding outfits to their Muslim outfits.
