Linda Gcwensa has a huge announcement to make. He wants the entire Mzansi to know that he is 100% certain he is NOT dead.
The family have been receiving messages of condolences since Sunday. The Linda Gcwensa who has sadly passed away is the music group Avante founder.
Briefly.co.za learnt that the music fraternity is in mourning after the news broke that Gcwensa died on Sunday from kidney problems.

Linda, on the other hand, has had people phoning in tears trying to find out how he died. Linda says that some people thought his Facebook page had been hacked. Even Linda’s friend was getting calls with fans pleading for more information with regards to his death. The weird thing is, Linda says even though he is not dead, he now knows the feeling to be dead.
But put this all aside, Linda wants people to know that he is not the Linda that has passed away. The Linda that has died is the one that sang gospel and he is the one that sings Afro pop.
Linda went on to say that in 2011 he became aware of a gospel singer that went by the same name as him. He found the other Gcwensa on Facebook and sent him a message.
The two then became friends with Linda paying Gcwensa frequent visits at his home in KwaMashu.
Linda said that Gcwensa was an inspiration to him as they both wrote songs. There was a time that Gcwensa offers to help Linda record an album, but before that could happen, Linda joined Mzansi Magic’s Clash of the Choirs.
The last time Linda spoke to Gcwensa was in 2018 when he got sick and was in the hospital.
The burial for Gcwensa will be held on Saturday in Umzumbe.
