Wydad sends well-wishes to injured Morena and Mosimane reacts

Wydad Athletic Club took to social media to wish Mamelodi Sundowns player, Thapelo Morena, a speedy recovery following a serious ankle injury sustained during a recent match against Supersport United. Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane responded to the well-wishes, saying he was humbled.

Mosimane took to his Twitter account to respond to the Wydad post. He said:

"This what football is about, really humbling and touching! Never ever in football history has this ever happened. Love and respect whilst competing at the highest level. Alhamdilla. Sukran!"

The Brazilians' fan were also in agreement and welcomed the kind message from the opposition team. Twitter user NkosinganiNdlo1 said:

"I am now a fan of Wydad Casablanca."
