Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa has been doing some much-needed self-reflecting during this lockdown.

After going through a pretty rough couple of years, Enhle knows a thing or two about staying strong through times of suffering.

Briefly.co.za saw how Enhle shared some wonderful words of wisdom during a recent Instagram Live interview with Cosmopolitan SA.

Speaking about the lockdown and what she has been doing during this time, Enhle told Cosmopolitan SA how grateful she has actually been for this time as it has given her space to sort her thoughts and seek clarity in so many things that were unclear.

Enhle has been praying, self-reflecting and learning to understand herself better than she ever has before.

Speaking to God daily, Enhle has been able to unpack a few things that have been weighing her down, allowing her to see the beauty of life once again.

Seeing how truly short and uncertain life is, Enhle has learnt from this pandemic to appreciate every moment more than she ever did and never to take a single thing for granted.

“Life is so fragile, it can end at any moment and I think that has been my take-away from this lockdown. And I think for a lot of us, at times it still feels surreal.”

Enhle, like literally everyone else, never in her wildest dreams thought she would be living through a pandemic like this.

Taking the positives away from this dreadful time is what is needed. We need to readjust our thoughts and really put into perspective what is actually important.

Joining the #ThankYou gang, Enhle is helping others see the light amidst this darkness.
