Linda Mtoba came forward to let peeps know that you can find Mr Right on social media, because she did. Yup, Linda met her wonderful hubby of three years on Facebook.

Dating is totally different today than it was 10 years ago. You are more likely to meet someone online than you are in real life – odd, we know.

Briefly.co.za learnt that the lovely Linda decided to let fans in on her love life, something she never does. Linda has chosen to keep her personal life private, so when she gives some inside info like this, we appreciate it.

Speaking to Move Magazine, Linda explained how she and her man met. While they had met when she was just 19, nothing came of it until they hooked up on social media sometime later.

“It’s a very funny story. We saw each other at a club and didn’t talk. Two months later he inboxed me on Facebook. He stayed in Cape Town and when we started dating he came to see me in Durban."

Linda explained how she and her hubby had totally forgotten that they had met previously when they started talking on social media. So, to them, they pretty much met online.

“We went out and later that day while we were chatting, he told me he felt he had met me somewhere before. I was like, ‘No man, it’s because we have been talking for the longest time’. And later, he asked if I was in a club that other night, two months back, and as soon as he said that, I just saw him.”.

Linda believes that the universe brought them together and that it was meant to be. Social media definitely has its upsides.

“It’s very strange how we didn’t exchange numbers, but somewhere, somehow the universe brought us back together. Being married is great, marriage has been amazing, it’s like dating but with aroma.”

This is one online romance that turned into something good. Linda and her husband are happy and wouldn’t change their story for anything.
