Family is everything: 5 SA celebs who had children at a young age

Some people regard having children at a young age as detrimental to their careers. However, several South African celebrities have proven this belief wrong.

Despite having kids at a fairly young age, these celebrities went on to build successful careers in the entertainment industry.

Briefly.co.za compiles a list of five celebs who continue to prove that family is everything.

1. Emtee

The popular rapper welcomed his first son, Avery, in 2015. He was just 22 at the time. He and his girlfriend Nicole recently welcomed another son named Logan.

2. Ntando Duma

The actress and TV presenter is most famously known for presenting eTV's youth programming feature, Craz-e.

She had her baby daughter, Sbahle, just seven months ago. At 22, she has already bagged a new music show on MTV, Gqom Nation.

3. Pearl Thusi

As an actress, model and TV personality, Pearl Thusi has achieved tremendous success. It's almost hard to believe that she had her daughter, Thandolwethu, when she was just 19.

4. Dineo Nchabeleng

Dineo gained fame as teenager Angela Mogale in the SABC soapie, Generations. The 25-year-old actress has learnt to juggle her showbiz career with being mom to her two-year-old daughter.

5. Palesa Madisakwane

The TV news anchor and current affairs producer is 41 years old. Her daughter, Bahumi, is 22 years old. She made sure to work hard for success so her daughter could live a comfortable life.
