In other inspirational Briefly.co.za news, a woman identified as Charlotte Kabaseke has taken to social media to celebrate her achievement after bagging a PhD in law from the University of Wuhan, China. The Ugandan woman said she embarked on the journey on 4 September, 2017, adding that she was thankful because nobody told her that it was going to be a rough one.
In her words:
"In I am very thankful that I did not get someone to tell me the candid truth about what my exact PhD experience would be, otherwise, I would have reconsidered my decision. For example, I did not expect to feel so stupid very many times and I never expected that I would cry like a little girl so many times.
"I am however stronger, more resilient, more mature, more analytical, more courageous, more confident, more organized, more intellectually alert, I appreciate my work and resting hours the more, I appreciate my relationships better."
