Briefly.co.za previously reported that DJ Tira is not one to stay on a sinking ship. With amapiano taking over the Mzansi music landscape, it’s a case of adapt or die.
The gqom music producer has chosen to adapt. Taking to Instagram recently, Tira shared a picture of Reece Madlisa and Zuma, two top amapiano artists and welcomed them to Durban.
The Afrotainment owner did not say anything else but fans were quick to draw their own conclusions.
Many pointed out that gqom was obsolete and it was time to look into working with amapiano artists.
