AKA took to social media on Valentine's Day and posted a cute snap of himself and his bae Nelli Tembe kissing. The lovebirds were spotting matching hairstyles in the pic the rapper shared on Twitter on Sunday, 14 February.
Supa Mega wished his followers a 'happy ponytail day' when he shared the snap. The Fela in Versace hitmaker captioned his post:
"Happy Ponytail Day."
Nando's official Twitter account took to Mega's comment section on the micro-blogging app and posted a spicy comment. Nando's shared an ambiguous response to Mega's tweet:
"@akaworldwide, we thought the key to true love was to m'dlise, mara now we know it's having matching pondos with bae."
M'dlise means to give your partner a love potion and it also means to feed someone. Tweeps have shared mixed opinions on Nando's hilarious response to AKA and Nelli's matching ponytails. Check some of the comments below:
"Your level of overthinking would probably set world records if it could be measured."
"Looool, as for pondos."
"Admin can you reveal yourself please... I want to see something."
"I will stick to feeding her the Nando's and pass on the matching hairstyles. M'dlise has been proven to work, Nando's is working well so far."
"He’s gonna roast y’all yazi, y’all better not chicken out."
"I see what you did there."
In other entertainment news, Briefly.co.za reported that AKA's SABC 1 show titled The Braai Show has been kicked off the channel's Top 10 most-watched shows. The programme hit a slump in January 2021 after doing very well for the past few months.
The rapper-turned-TV presenter hosted Robert Marawa, Laduma and Prince Kaybee in January. None of those episodes pulled enough viewers to make it to the Top 10 SABC 1 shows. Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela wrote on Twitter recently:
"TV: The Braai Show With AKA off SABC1 Top 10. The show, with a decently performing season, hit a slump in January when none of its episodes pulled enough viewers to crack the Top 10. January guests Prince KB, Laduma & Robert Marawa pulled below 2.5-mil."
Social media users have shared mixed reactions to the show hitting a slump last month. A tweep @khangelwam1 wrote:
"The show is wack, I accidentally saw the Robert Marawa one, AKA is the worst interviewer ever, boring."
