Mbalula has been quite a good meme dealer recently. Briefly.co.za reported that the minister shared an old video of former president Jacob Zuma vowing to respect the Zondo Commission. The 24-second clip gained over 46 000 views on Twitter at the time of viewing.
Some SAns enjoyed the subtle savagery shown by Mbalula but many called him out. Below are just a few of the responses Mbalula's tweet received:

"The Commission stories started by Madonsela and she was endorsed by our disgraced Courts. President Zuma was forced to appoint this useless Zondo. And I'm warning you comrade Mbaks don't make jokes with peoples president. Because president Zuma belongs to South African Citizens."

"You're disappointing, President Jacob Zuma doesn't mind giving his side of the story but only if Zondo is not chairing the Commission because he feels he is not treated the same. You've never made so much noise when Brian Molefe & Koko was giving testimony. Siyanibuka nje."
