Prince Kaybee has backed the decision by Master KG’s label to start charging companies that used the Jerusalema track for advertising purposes.

Taking to social media, Prince Kaybee said:

“Its not invalid for @MasterKGsa to ask for money. Some companies were not joining the challenge because they love the song but to hijack the global trend created by the song which is like getting international ad campaign at zero cost.”

“I won’t dispute that. My question is why now, at its anticlimax, did he deliberately wait for several companies to “hijack” the trend. Or am I late to the party?”
