US actress Mandy Moore names son August to honour her husband

A week ago, US actress Mandy Moore gave birth to a bouncing baby boy.

This was after her pregnancy story touched so many people’s hearts because she happens to be one of the most celebrated faces on TV currently.

The mum finally shared a sneak peek of her son and even revealed that she and her partner Taylor decided to give their son August Harrison the nickname Gus.

But first, she had to explain the reason behind the little boy’s full name.

Apparently, August is the month when Mandy found out her baby, who was by then growing inside her belly, was going to be a boy.

And then, August is also her partner’s birth month so what better way to honour the love of her life?

“It was last August when @taylordawesgoldsmith and I found out we were having a boy (it’s also Taylor’s birth month) and we always loved the name... so it was settled very early on in our book,” the celebrity said in an Instagram post.

Gus was born on February 23, 2021.

In other news, Briefly.co.za reported that Thembisa Mdoda has penned a sweet birthday message to her twin boys, Lonwabile and Lonwabo. The DAM actress shared that they are turning nine on Friday, 26 February. The proud mom took to Instagram to share that there are no words to describe how much she loves her bundles of joy. The stunner captioned her post:

"My babies turn 9 today. There aren’t enough words or tears that could explain the love and joy they bring. Everyday, I thank God for choosing me for them because in all honesty, they have taught me so much more."

Thembisa added that the twins are her biggest blessings and her highest privilege. "Happy birthday to my boys." Mzansi celebs and fans took to Thembisa's comment section to help her wish her boys a fabulous day. Kayise Ngqula wrote: "Oh man... the boys."

Phumeza Mdabe said: "Happy birthday boys!"
