An extensive operation led by the Western Cape organised crime narcotics unit detectives resulted in police seizing a massive haul of cocaine with an estimated value of around R583 million.
The intelligence-driven operation occurred on Monday evening from a fishing vessel off the Saldahna coast. 973 blocks of compressed cocaine were found in three separate compartments of the fishing vessel.
The suspects were arrested on charges of dealing drugs and are expected to appear in court soon.

He shared that the mugging took him by surprise as he never thought that it would happen and a busy spot such as a car wash and eatery. The popular muso said he was at the spot to greet a friend.
Dr Tumi's fans have continued to send him kind messages following the incident.
