Method Man celebrated his 50th birthday on Tuesday, 2 March. The US rapper, real name Clifford Smith Jr, was born in Hempstead, New York in 1971.

Method Man is popular across the globe for being a member of hip-hop collective Wu-Tang Clan and one half of the hip-hop duo Method Man & Redman.

XXL magazine took to Twitter on his birthday to wish the actor a happy birthday. The publication shared two snaps of the musician and captioned it:
