The superstar singer's message comes a few days after Meghan and her husband Prince Harry had a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey. This was the first time that the couple spoke publicly about what caused them to take a step back from their duties in the royal family.

In other news, Briefly.co.za previously reported that Buckingham Palace responded to Meghan's racism claims. The racial concerns posed by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are "concerning," according to Buckingham Palace, and will be handled privately by the family.
The Palace said in a statement that recollections could differ but the statements made in their interview with Oprah Winfrey were "taken very seriously." According to the Palace, the Royal Family is "saddened" to hear about the couple's difficulties in recent years.
"The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan," the statement read.
